Our standards are formed by and for growers and grain buyers, guided by the needs of the markets. Our crop quality and traceability scheme ensures safe and environmentally friendly production of arable crops in Scotland. Our aim is to make sure that the mechanics are in place to allow easy access to the most attractive markets.

Our board is a cooperative of eight organisations purposefully selected from across the supply chain.

Independent

SQC has appointed an independent certification body, Food Integrity Assurance, to conduct assessments and certification. FIA also delivers assessments for QMS, which means it can combine assessments and reduce duplication for SQC members.

SQC has access to a valuable forum of insights and knowledge through its cross-sector board and established Scottish Crops Supply Chain Hub. This allows it to anticipate industry development and create a supportive business environment for growers to maintain their competitive edge.
